Krispy Kreme Donuts comes to Western PA and I could not have been more thrilled. After sampling one (or more) of the glazed donuts I headed back to the office with 10 dozen for the news staff. Major problem occurred as I was driving down 279 with the donuts and while listening to the radio a news report breaks that a plane hit the World Trade Center on September, 11, 2001. As the events of 911 unfolded, my KKD loot took a back seat as the darkest day in American history during my lifetime took place.
